Since the late 1990's, Measurement Solutions have provided the UK market with the World's leading retrofits and upgrades to any make or model of CMM. On many occasions, customers have asked us for solutions when it comes to buying new equipment, as the choice of new machines has become quite limited - the smaller companies fail to compete, and often "mainstream" machines have limited software capability  or are, quite simply, too expensive.

To answer the market's needs, we have formed an exclusive partnership with one of the Far East's leading CMM manufacturers, to develop the new ADVANTAGE range of CMM's. Manufactured to our own demanding specifications and design, the ADVANTAGE range has been specifically developed to meet the needs of the UK market, and enables us to offer our own range of specialist CMM's at a price that suits the market's demands.

ADVANTAGE CMM's are available in a complete range of sizes, from 500 x 600 x 400 right up to 1200 x 1500 x 1000 mm, with larger machines already under development. High mechanical rigidity and precision are achieved through the use of a traditional granite structure, resulting in small geometric errors and optimal stability throughout the measuring range. The latest design technology enables the granite components to be constructed in a completely new way, providing the same performance as aluminium machines, without the thermal instabilities and without the need for expensive error mapping. Precision air bearings and guideways are utilised in all axes, in order to maintain the combination of high speed and accuracy. All machines are manufactured and tested prior to delivery in a purpose built, 4000 sq.m temperature controlled production facility, and supplied with the latest Metrologic software and digital ME5008 controller, plus Renishaw probes and high accuracy scale systems.
